2 questions: Fly-in camping and yoke mount GPS

I am interested in taking my kids somewhere for fly-in camping this summer. I am based out of KRUQ (Rowan County Airport, Salisbury, NC). I would like to go somewhere and camp on field to avoid having to arrange ground transportation. Any suggestions?

Also, I am looking to invest in a yoke mounted GPS that is XM weather capable. I have a panel mount Garmin 430 that is great for navigation but would like the added safety of XM weather.
