Autocontrol IIIB Radio Coupler Interface

Does the autopilot interface with the VOR indicator to track or something else? It seems my autocontrol IIIB will track the VOR when my GNS 530 is in VLOC mode, but doesn't want to track when in GPS mode. I thought it just tracked the indicator needle, but maybe not? Thanks. |
