Engine analyzers again

I read through this forum, but still have questions:

I'm hopefully picking up a Dakota on Wed. It has lots of goodies, but no fuel flow and no engine monitor. I like gadgets, so I am considering the following two scenarios:

1) Try the new Insight G3 engine monitor - I like the more intuitive graph of CHT/EGT on the same screen.

2) Add a Shadin ADC 200 or ADC 2000 and interface it to the Garmin 530 so I can see fuel flow, etc. on the Garmin.

Any thoughts on this? Is it even possible?
